Hi I'm iris,

I’m a graphic designer, visual artist and parttime letter lover.

A big inspiration of mine is 80’s science fiction work and graphic novels.

I work with colourful shapes, illustration, photography and bold typography.

I enjoy working with printing techniques such as Riso, screen printing and lino.

I use these techniques to translate my feelings & concepts into meaningful work.

Artwork I designed with Mirte Kort for the fist edition of Nachtkantoor x spacebar.

Nachtkantoor x Spacebar is an event hosted by the nachtkantoor boys & club spacebar in Enschede. This was the first edition of this event and they gave us the opportunity to design something from scratch.

Nachtkantoor is a non-profit foundation representing the underground electronic music scene. They host music events & club evenings with their in-house dj’s mixed with guest-dj’s.

We got inspired by technology in an office setting & the colab with spacebar also brought in some inspiration from outer space.
